Place you hand near the device, if it seems unnaturally hot, the device may be overheating i was setting the gain for my sub on the Alpine s-a60m mono, everything was sounding awesome and still crisp the bass was banging hard then all of a sudden amp went into protection mode (red light on top) and no matter what it wont get out of it

A PDX-V9 on the same distribution block is having no issues. Make sure there is sufficient space and ventilation around the device and wait for it to cool down before attempting to power on again. Two green lights but the protection light is flashing red The bass (I'm using it as a single channel for a sub) is coming through but in reduced quality and the Sound is awful due to the fault.
